All vehicle rentals in Northampton come with a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or when collecting your vehicle. This agreement outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance information, fees, and your responsibilities related to the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take priority.

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For precise details, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Please be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- Use of the vehicle for illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any similar high-risk endeavors. Transporting hazardous materials or substances is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. Adhere to the vehicle’s designated uses, passenger limits, and weight restrictions. Operating the vehicle outside of the agreed geographical boundaries requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Limitations in Northampton
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Northampton is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our maximum liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid for the rental in the past year.
